About the event

As part of the London Games Festival, Payload Studios and the Tentacle Zone are hosting an official 'Open Studios' event at our co-working space in Central London on Weds 5 April.

Please join us if you’re interested in finding out more about life in the Tentacle Zone Community, meeting our residents and other industry folks, being part of a games tournament and joining us for lunch! We have Payloaders, Spilt Milk Studios, Strelka Games and Stormed Inc who are just some of our residents joining on the day.

About Payload and Tentacle Zone In 2016, Payload Studios, creators of community-centric sandbox game TerraTech, founded the Tentacle Zone Expo Stand to help showcase as many great teams and games as possible. Seven years later, the Tentacle Zone has evolved into a thriving games focused co-working space in Central London with fantastic resident studios and celebrating two years of running a virtual incubator for global game developers from underrepresented groups.

We are so proud to support other independent developers however we are able to and excited to open our doors to the wider games industry to get a sense of what it’s like being part of the Tentacle Zone Community!

How do I sign up?

If you work in the games industry, this event is open to you although spaces are limited. You can apply for a place using the meeting system, once approved, we'll send you our Eventbrite link to get some basic information including accessibility and dietary requirements etc.

What’s happening?

12.00pm - Doors open for networking, tours of our co-working space and playtesting 1.00pm - 2.00pm: Lunch is provided and our Tetris games tournament begins 2.00pm - 4.00pm: Book a free hot desk (limited spaces available). 4.00pm: Close of event
