Overwhelming is a narrative-driven detective adventure set in an alternate early-20th-century London. The game follows two protagonists whose worlds mirror each other, allowing players to switch perspectives to uncover clues that are hidden, distorted or altered across realities. Blending ensemble storytelling with urban legends, social unrest and intimate questions of identity, the narrative unfolds through parallel scenes, split-screen investigations and a mirror-based puzzle system. Players reconstruct events, negotiate what to reveal or conceal, and piece together the connections between characters as a larger mystery slowly surfaces around them.
